The Opportunity
The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) faces the challenge of time-consuming, manual reporting processes that limit efficiency and delay insights. There’s a need for automated solutions to streamline data interpretation, enhance reporting accuracy, and free resources for higher-impact initiatives.
The Approach
Using secure, locally hosted GPU hardware, I enabled select officers to pilot Generative AI tools. This setup ensures data security and privacy while testing automation in real-world scenarios.
The Impact
The project has already demonstrated value, with constructive feedback from pilot users and widespread enthusiasm. The tools have sparked the imagination of officers, envisioning new possibilities for AI-driven efficiency.
