The Opportunity

Crime and Intelligence Analysts at the Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) faced the challenge of manually searching through multiple databases and file folders, which was time-consuming and hindered quick access to critical intelligence. A unified, efficient search solution was needed to streamline this process.

The Approach

I developed a Meta-Search Tool that integrates various data sources into a single interface, allowing analysts to efficiently search and retrieve information from multiple databases and file folders at once.

The Impact

The tool has significantly improved search efficiency, reducing response time, enhancing situational awareness, and allowing analysts to retrieve results from millions of documents in milliseconds.
