The Opportunity
LPS officers needed a centralized, accessible platform to quickly access crime intelligence. Traditional systems required navigating multiple sources, which slowed response times and hindered situational awareness.
The Approach
I developed a custom Intelligence Portal tailored to LPS requirements, integrating advanced analytics and a seamless interface accessible on phones, in-car mobile terminals, and desktop. This portal serves as a one-stop shop for officers, consolidating real-time crime intelligence into one platform.
The Impact
The Intelligence Portal has streamlined access to actionable insights, empowering officers with immediate, centralized intelligence. By enabling faster, data-driven responses, the portal has contributed to a 21% decrease in Lethbridge’s Crime Severity Index, significantly enhancing situational awareness and improving overall public safety.
